August Update Update
Some of you already found the August Update for Android on Google Play. Yeah, of course you can install it, but the news items, the player boosts, will show up starting this saturday.
Here come the details:
The „optimized shoes“ (+1) you’ll get for 11 grey collectibles (instead of a sponsor contract) if you have stadium level 2 or higher.
Beginner teams (stadium level below 2) get the „silver boost“ (+10 for players up to strength 60) for 11 orange collectibles (instead of an energy drink).
You get „player girlfriends“ (+2) as reward for finishing a new „play abroad matches“ challenge. Note that you won’t get that challenge if you already have some girlfriends in your inventory, you have to assign them to players first (boosting them as result).
The number of matches or goals you need in order to finish a challenge, will not depend on your current setup’s strength anymore, but on your total prestige. That applies not only to the player girlfriend challenge but to all of them.
There will also be two changed happy hours:
The treasure hunt tournament is replaced by just simply „for each victory 10% chance to get a rare collectible“. Just win 50 matches during the treasure hunt happy hour and you’ll get approx. 5 of the admired ruby or treasure collectibles.
Finally, the Morale Cup happy hour is replaced by a Rock Cup. The winner gets a rare rock concert item. This item makes its comeback after it had been abandoned from the treasure chests by public demand.
August Update: Boosts!
August Update introduces a totally new type of items: Player Boosts!
Whenever you activate a boost, you choose a player without plus signs. This player gets a few points strength bonus for a limited time.
Note the following rules: Players can only have one boost at a time. New boosts replace existing boosts. Boosts are removed when a player is transferred. Because of this, players show up on the transferlist without their boost bonus. Boost items can be recycled if not needed.
We are starting with three different boost items and will likely add more if you like them:
Custom shoes: +1 bonus for 25 days.
Girlfriend: +2 bonus for 12 days.
Silver boost (image above): +10 bonus for 7 days, only for players with strength 60 or less.
Boosts will not be available in the shop or in packs. You will get them just by playing, so this is no pay-2-win feature! The more you play, the more boosts you get. But it will be very hard to have all players boosted at maximum at the same time. This is by design! Instead of just boosting everybody, you should think carefully which player needs boosts most!

August Update will be available on August 23rd for Android, iPhone, Winphone 8 and Windows 8.
Bundesliga Start Special
The German Bundesliga is starting the 53rd season next week. That’s why you get one free new collectible each 53th match you play until August 15th!
So play, play, play!
You decided: More crossings!

So, we will change this next sunday. There will be more crossings played by crossing specialists, resulting in more header goals.
We are doing the change of course in a way that other strategies remain valid. For example in counter tactics like 541, aces will remain the better choice.

July update
July Update comes on sunday, 26th with these changes:
- Activate crystal ball, prolongation and (new) magic shoes in the inventory and then choose the player instead using the player screen.
- Android: Improved stadium building directly on the stadium screen
- New collectibles: Ruby and Treasure (11 can be converted to the named item). You get one of those collectibles when you join the new Happy Hour „Treasure hunt“ and multiples it you win that tournament or come in second. Ruby collectibles are more common than treasure collectibles.
- Android: Autosave of squad setup at the end of the match countdown is removed from the setup screen
- New user created mascos Bodo Bum finally replaces Karlo Kick (if you get a new one)
- Removed the „play with 2 U21 players“ challenge by public demand
- Removed the „double challenge reward“ happy hour because of common misunderstandings of how it works
The iPhone version is already available. Versions for Winphone 7 and Windows 8 might be delayed by some days. The all new version for Winphone 8 is currently in beta test.

For a couple of days, we again offer our Special Pack.

Kick it out! 6 Beta for Windows Phone starts now
Finally, it’s done. Kick it out! 6 for WP 8.1 is starting its beta phase. It will be a closed beta. Everyone who wants to join the beta can send a feedback mail via the official app containing the Windows Live email address. In return you’ll get the store link to the new app. The new app cannot be found using the store search.
You can login to Kio with your current team. The beta will be played on the production server. The only restriction is that no pack is buyable within the app. You’ll have to do that in the official app.
As the title says, the app is only for smart phones having Windows Mobile with version 8.1 and above. WP 7.x devices cannot install the app.
