The great final tournament will take place next saturday. Kickoff time is 18:30 CEST (16:30 UTC). The tournament will be visible much earlier, and you can enter 20 minutes before start as with any other tournament. The play mode is KO with rematch. Empty slots will be filled with bots.

The group tournaments have started! They are held each 5 minutes (or as soon as all participants of a group joined).



Winner and second place get the access pass for the final tournament which will be held next saturday. If a tournament has not been played because there were only 2 teams present, both will get the passes. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Some passes might arrive later in inventories, even on sunday. Please be patient, you will all get them!

Next sunday, the June update will be published.
There will be several minor improvements, like tap-enabled clan logos on team screens and a list of all your matches against that team on the lower end of the team screen, and a web based chat with buddies. Furthermore, on the profile screen, you will be able to enter your birthdate (once!) to receive a present on each birthday. This is of course optional. We also extend the setup save slots to 16 with the almanac.


Another improvement concerns the mascots. We know that you dislike the fact, that if you lose the „Golden Goal“, you lose 5 bonus points at once. In the future, all mascots will have bonus value TWO (except Bob the sheep who stays by 1), and there will be EIGHT mascots in total, still yielding a total bonus of 15 (Bob=1, plus 7 times 2). Note that existing mascots will not be changed, so for a while there will exist both „old“ mascots with bonus over 2 and „new“ with bonus 2. The rule is, that you can exchange collectible cards for new mascots as long as you don’t exceed the total bonus of 15. If for example a Golden Goal (with bonus 5) retires, you can immediately use 22 collectibles to create to new mascots of bonus 2.



You’ll propably remember that we had standard tournaments with enhanced rock-paper-scissors system as a weekend special recently. The feedback was very positive which made us decide to bring those tournaments into play permanently. That said, 2 out of 3 standard tournaments will be played normally, and 1 out of 3 will be played with RPS emphasis. Note that Universe Cup, qualifiers, Galaxy Cups and special tournaments remain as they are.

The update will be published for Android this sunday. The Windows version is delayed for some days, but you will be able to use the server-side benefits like the nex mascots and the „tactical“ tournaments anyway, even with the old and discontinued ios version.

Still 63 qualifiers to go! Remember: You can join any number of qualifiers, until you win one. The qualifiers start each 30 minutes from 14h to 23h CEST. Go got it!

This year’s KiO World Cup will start this friday with qualifier tournaments!



There will be 128 qualifier tournaments in total, launching each 30 minutes for 9 days between 14h and 21h (CEST), running until next week. You can play as many qualifiers as you want, until you win one of course 🙂

The group phase will be held on june 24 in the afternoon, and the final tournament on july 1st.

This weekend, we are playing 1 out of 4 tournaments wich paper-scissors-rock emphasis („tactical“)!

We are going to evaluate afterwards how many teams preferred the tactical cups, and maybe make this an ongoing feature.

Also, your feedback is welcome! Do you like tactical tournaments or not?

As of tomorrow, we adjusted some clan challenges to higher target values because we found that they were too easy.

Furthermore, the displayed percentage is now limited to 200%, which means that the clan challenge stops counting once you reached this value. Further counting does not make any sense, as there is no further reward for higher values.

Furthermore, we adjusted two of the new challenges (collect prestige and win with a certain formation). By the way, are you aware that matches against bots count towards challenges? This is also true for the certain formation challenge. I’m sure FC Ballermann can’t wait to be beaten up with 424, hu?
