Weekend Special: Protein Boost!

Let’s test a new player boost together this weekend. The protein diet:


This works like any boost, but only non superstitious players will accept it. (Note that you need the latest Android version to display the item correctly. Others will also display it, and it works, but the description will be inaccurate and it will be shown as generic player boost, not as protein diet).

The diet gives the chosen player a boost of +5 for 5 days! Obviously, this is very strong. We are planning to put this item into treasure chests, replacing the career prolongation. This weekend is for judging how you like the new item according to your feedback.

Note the „best before“ date on the diet items. You need to use them before that date on a player. So test it this weekend or next season.

Now for the most important question: Where do you get the protein diet from?

It’s rather simple. It is added to your talent point when you visit the academy. Note that this works only once each day. So if you already activated the academy today, you won’t get the diet. But anyway you’ll get enough to test it. Because the special is running until monday evening, you can get at least 3, and most of you 4 protein diets to test. Note that all existing boost rules apply!

Test phase in Collector’s Cup

We just activated a slightly modified version of the simulation in Collector’s Cup matches only. This can result in more surprises but less strange results with many goals.
You’ll understand that we can only do such testings in not so important tournaments, which is why we chose this cup. For the test phase of approx one week, we removed the strength restriction on this cup, so you can enter with any strength.

All about update 8.5

The latest update 8.5 is now available on Google Play, soon also on the Amazon Store and for Windows.

Hope you already enjoy your League Cup this season, as they are the only new feature in this version! Most details about the new League Cups have already been published. You might want to head over to the new Wiki page to read everything about them.

The most noteworthy stuff is here: Starting season 367, League Cup winners will get a trophy, prestige and payout (little bit less than the league champion gets). Also, the cup winner scores 100 points for his clan. Important: This replaces the scoring from the Regional Cups. As many teams cannot join those location based tournaments, we decided that scoring for the clan championship with them is not appropriate anymore. Instead, the 100 points score for each League Cup has the potential to completely change the clan championship table each saturday afternoon! Note that the Regional Cup North Europe is planned to be switched off this sunday. RC South Europe will be the last remaining RC outside of germany for the time being.

There are two new achievements for winning 1/10/100 League Cups and for winning 3/10/20 different League Cups. They will be shown in your list from sunday on.

League Cups started!

Today we started the first league cups ever in our game!

Here’s how it works:

1. You need the latest Android version to see your League Cup

2. When you join a 1st – 3rd division of any league (except Beginner League) you are automatically registered for that league’s League Cup.

3. League Cups run with 64 teams and 6 rounds or 128 teams and 7 rounds (currently only German and World League). The finals are saturday 17:30 CET. The other rounds are schedules between the first and second league match each day (except on sunday if you have only 6 rounds)

4. Currently you cannot view other League Cups than your own. This will change in the next update.

5. If a league is tactics emphasized, its League Cup also is.

6. The draw for round 1 is 5 minutes after the league matches are scheduled.

7. As season 366 is a test season for League Cups, there is no trophy or other scores for the winner. This will be changed with the next update.

Preview: KiO League Cups

The next large update will finally introduce League Cups to the game!



Each team participating in a league will also play in that league’s league cup (exceptions: Beginner League and divisions 4+). The rounds will be played daily with the finals on saturday afternoon.

As the new competition is a bit complicated to implement, we are going to start with a test phase this friday. So, League Cups will be held next week, but they will not count towards the clan championship, nor will there be trophies for the winners. We will publish a beta version of the game by end of this week which will show the league cups.

We are very sure that this new competition will a lot of fun to the game! So stay tuned for more details next week.
