Today we were made aware of a new „Ubertaktik“ which breaks the paper-scissors-rock system: A 541 formation with up to 8 crossing specialists. Due to a bug in the simulation, no maximum was applied to the number of crossing passes played in the defensive formation 541, and thus one or two headers scored enormous amounts of goals.
We just fixed this bug in the simulation, making this unrealistic Uber-formation useless (not better than a normal 541).
We apologize for this bug. Also we would like to point out that it is important to fix any bug like this as fast as possible.

On sunday 29th of march, we release the March update (6.3) of Kick it out.
Apart from bugfixes, there will be the following changes:
We are looking forward to celebrate the fifth anniversary of our game in may. To start, there will be a reward for returning users: 1 free ruby pack if you did not play for six weeks and return to the game (on sunday or the weeks after).
Updates for Android and Windows will be available on sunday. The ios version might be delayed by one or two days because it is still stuck in Apple’s review process. This does not affect the changes to happy hours and returning users award, as they work server side.
Until end of march, we offer a special pack containing four silver specialists again.

Tentatively Ludetis support for one month (until the end of April) Forum Tournaments each with a free Ruby pack for the winner.
For this purpose, the tournament must meet the following conditions:
1. At least 16 participants.
2. Transparent organization on the forum, ie all results are given in the forum.
3. No restrictions on participation, that is, anyone who wants to, must be allowed to participate (exception: maximum number of participants was initially established and is reached, so no other users can be accepted). This means in particular that clan internal tournaments are not supported!
4. The tournament must for this special action in April [i] only [/i] (discharge date of the final or last or match)
5. The tournament organizer tell the Community Manager the name of the winning team.

Bugs? Hell yes, Kick it out has some. That’s why we release updated versions for Android nearly daily. So please make sure you always have the latest version!
This weekend – season 228 – we are going to start more tactical leagues due to popular demand.
Belgium and WorldLeague will be completely tactical throughout all divisions, and the poll made the ASIA League the remaining candidate. That’s a league running early in mid europe.
Note that NO MORE tactical leagues will be added in the next months. We know that most of our managers want to play the „normal“ way, and only a small fraction likes to play „tactical“. With now 3 out of 29 league systems playing tactical, this is a good compromise.
Now for something completely different: Tournaments. Some managers wished to have tactical tournaments. We don’t want to add a dedicated tactical tournament, so the compromise would be to make SOME platinum leagues tactical. Here’s the poll which is running one week:

It brings a lot of new features – mostly requested by the Community, by YOU!
Starting with league season #226, you can qualify for the new weekly GALAXY CUP, which will be held on 28.2. for the first time (17h UTC). Places 2-5 of each first division qualify for admission.
There are also the first ‚tactical‘ Leagues (World League and Belgium) with increased weighting of the rock-paper-scissors tactics system.
Also new game analysis in each game and extended statistics on the proportion of surprises and sensations in your games, as well as your personal RPS rates (extended statistics are delayed for iOS). The analysis checks if the match result is deserved, expected, a surprise (happens in roughly 15% of all matches) or even a sensation (3% of all matches). Your archivist tells you which portion of your matches ended with a surprise or sensation. If larger than 20%, you should think about your tactics. Visit our forum for discussion about optimal tactics.
We also fulfilled a long-term wish: You now can rename your stadium using an item from the ruby shop! (requires suburb stadium or better)
Due to popular demand, we changed the challenge „play x friendly matches at home“ to „play x friendly matches“.
We hope this improves the situation in the friendly lounges.
In addition, after the update, we display the „last played formation“ instead of the „last saved formation“ in the profil of other teams.

We just changed the behavior of the coach regarding automatic improvement of setups in league matches.
From now on, the coach will never touch a setup with strength 97 or better, even if there would be a superstitious setup with 110 or more.
This also means that league setups with strength 97 or better are never considered as manipulation, even if the team owns a 10 percent better superstitious setup.
