Hope you already enjoy your League Cup this season, as they are the only new feature in this version! Most details about the new League Cups have already been published. You might want to head over to the new Wiki page to read everything about them.

The most noteworthy stuff is here: Starting season 367, League Cup winners will get a trophy, prestige and payout (little bit less than the league champion gets). Also, the cup winner scores 100 points for his clan. Important: This replaces the scoring from the Regional Cups. As many teams cannot join those location based tournaments, we decided that scoring for the clan championship with them is not appropriate anymore. Instead, the 100 points score for each League Cup has the potential to completely change the clan championship table each saturday afternoon! Note that the Regional Cup North Europe is planned to be switched off this sunday. RC South Europe will be the last remaining RC outside of germany for the time being.

There are two new achievements for winning 1/10/100 League Cups and for winning 3/10/20 different League Cups. They will be shown in your list from sunday on.

Today we started the first league cups ever in our game!

Here’s how it works:

1. You need the latest Android version to see your League Cup

2. When you join a 1st – 3rd division of any league (except Beginner League) you are automatically registered for that league’s League Cup.

3. League Cups run with 64 teams and 6 rounds or 128 teams and 7 rounds (currently only German and World League). The finals are saturday 17:30 CET. The other rounds are schedules between the first and second league match each day (except on sunday if you have only 6 rounds)

4. Currently you cannot view other League Cups than your own. This will change in the next update.

5. If a league is tactics emphasized, its League Cup also is.

6. The draw for round 1 is 5 minutes after the league matches are scheduled.

7. As season 366 is a test season for League Cups, there is no trophy or other scores for the winner. This will be changed with the next update.

The next large update will finally introduce League Cups to the game!



Each team participating in a league will also play in that league’s league cup (exceptions: Beginner League and divisions 4+). The rounds will be played daily with the finals on saturday afternoon.

As the new competition is a bit complicated to implement, we are going to start with a test phase this friday. So, League Cups will be held next week, but they will not count towards the clan championship, nor will there be trophies for the winners. We will publish a beta version of the game by end of this week which will show the league cups.

We are very sure that this new competition will a lot of fun to the game! So stay tuned for more details next week.

New weekend, new special!

This weekend, from friday sept. 8, 8 CEST until sept. 10 midnight CEST, you get a free normal collectible card (one of those with a player face) whenever you participate in a tournament. Exceptions are Bot Cups and cancelled tournaments. You get the collectible once the tournament starts. Now, go and get them!
