You have voted, and you have decided on the future of the game!
Of course, some details still need to be discussed, but many important decisions have been clearly determined by the vote.
You can also view the results ‘directly from the Ludetis database’ with audio commentary on YouTube. Here, I summarise the most important results in writing for you to read.
The Titans: Most votes were for ‘okay, but far too expensive’, followed by ‘don’t like them’. → We will therefore first try to find a way to offer Titans at a lower price, e.g. older ones that don’t stay in the team for as long. At a later date, we will ask again whether the Titans should stay or be removed completely.
The limited specialists: By far the most votes were for ‘Good, but better balance in future.’ → We know that the teamplayer crossing specialist was too strong, and have been working on improving the balance since then. Limited specialists should and may be slightly better than existing specialists, but not so strong that they dominate the entire KiO universe.
Clan Championship: There is a narrow majority of 60:52 votes in favour of continuing the current mode with the final tournament. However, 59 votes were also cast for ‘I don’t care.’ This shows that the CM is by no means the most important thing for all players. It may be helpful to keep this in mind more often. → So we are not changing anything about the CM for the time being.
What new features would you like to see? By a considerable margin, most votes were for ‘even more interesting medals’, ‘new, interesting trainer foxes’ and ‘improve own tournaments’. → We will now develop these ideas in detail and will certainly introduce the first new medals into the game in the big autumn update, for example.
Opponents‘ line-ups visible: A large majority of 91:46 votes believe that things are fine as they are → so they will remain that way.
Multiple teams per player: A large majority of 94 votes voted for ‘should be completely banned’. Obviously, the majority feel that multi-accounts are fundamentally unfair, even if they do not violate the rules. → We will change the rules accordingly. However, to be on the safe side, we would like to point out that we will not completely prevent multiple teams from playing on the same Wi-Fi/in the same household for technical reasons. Friends, family, siblings and children are of course still allowed to play.
Feeling comfortable in the community: 94 votes were cast in favour of ‘yes’ as opposed to “no”, with ‘don’t know or sometimes yes, sometimes no’ receiving 62 votes. → This does not result in any direct changes, but we are pleased with the result and will endeavour to make your experience in the game even more enjoyable. We welcome specific suggestions by email to Support.
Clan Championship Medal: As you know, we disabled this medal, along with a few others, without asking because of false incentives. Due to a number of complaints, we have now resubmitted the question in order to legitimise the decision retrospectively, so to speak. This worked, as a majority of 55:48 votes supported our decision – and most (69) didn’t even care → The medal remains disabled.
Hot Summer Cup: With 72:22 votes for ‘good, it was fun’, we can draw a positive conclusion. → We will continue to strive to offer interesting special promotions for holidays and vacations.
In-game poll: With 146:1 votes, we have a very clear statement here. So it was worth the effort to integrate a tamper-proof voting system directly into the game. → We will continue to use it and even expand it so that we can also organise small prediction games, etc. in the future.
Large competitions alternating between tactical and weak tactical: Here we have a clear yes with 68:49! → So we will soon be offering the big Saturday tournaments alternately in the other game modes.
That concludes the big autumn survey – and we have a whole series of tasks ahead of us, some of which we will certainly implement in the big 2026 update. The update is planned for the end of November. We will keep you informed!
Thank you very much for participating in the survey. We value your opinion and respect your wishes – as far as possible, given that there are quite different preferences within our community. No one is excluded, but of course we cannot fulfil all wishes, especially if they are contradictory. But we will do our best!
