Winter is here

Well, at least in the northern hemisphere we clearly have winter, only without zombies.

Time to warm our hearts with a new installation of the Winter Cup. This special tournament will be held from friday to monday, winners get two treasure chest collectibles and runners-up one.

Furthermore, we are going to adjust the clan challenge thresholds for the „matches“ and „tournament winner“ versions because we found that during the last weeks they were to easy to win with double bonus by the former clan champion. As you know, the clan challenges have to be adjusted in a way that makes winning the clan trophy two times in a row is very hard. To achieve this, it must be nearly impossible to reach the double threshold of the clan challenge for the champion of the previous season (increased difficulty).

Of course we will keep monitoring those values and adjust them again in any direction if needed.

Wir wünschen euch eine tolle Silvesterparty und ein noch tolleres neues Jahr. Als kleinen Spaßbeschleuniger gibt’s von heute, 29.12., 15 Uhr bis zum 2. Januar Mitternacht bei jedem Packkauf zwei zufällige besondere Sammelbilder dazu.

December Update Preview #3

Additionally to the new stadiums and the new platinum treasure chest, there will be the following minor changes on saturday’s December Update.

Teams in your clan will be shown in light yellow in the tournament schedule. This is a suggestion from the community.

Also, you wished to reduce the strength of the top bot teams. According to this, all bot teams with strength above 89 will be reduced on saturday evening.

And the last change is an improvement to the analysis function. Starting saturday evening, it will identify and show in the match report two special cases: First if a team won due to header goals and the opponent had no defensive header, second if the loser team had players on wrong positions (like DM on center back positions). You cannot see that from the shown strength value, but it’s often crucial for the result, so it’s important to know.

The app update for Android will be available saturday evening, the Windows version also around that time. Please note one important fact: Stadiums and the platinum chest need to be activated on the server. We will announce this in the ingame newsticker. Please do not purchase Season Packs or exchange 11 treasure collectibles before the announcement if you want platinum chests!

Dezember-Update-Vorschau

Wir haben euch ja bereits zwei große Neuerungen im Dezember-Update vorgestellt: Die neue Platin-Schatztruhe und die neuen Stadien.

Am Samstagabend passieren aber noch ein paar Dinge, die nicht ganz so bedeutsam sind, aber wir wollen sie euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten.

Erstens erweitern wir die Analyse. Sie wird in zwei Fällen entsprechende Hinweise in den Spielbericht schreiben, die in der Vergangenheit oft zu Schwierigkeiten beim Verständnis von Spielberichten geführt haben. Und zwar wird die Analyse darauf hinweisen, wenn eine Niederlage höchstwahrscheinlich auf fehlende Innenverteidiger mit Kopfballer-Spezialisierung zurückzuführen ist. Außerdem wird sie erkennen, wenn Spieler positionsfremd aufgestellt wurden (z.B. DM auf IV-Position). Dies ist oft nicht an der Stärke ablesbar, kann aber entscheidenden Einfluss aufs Ergebnis haben.

Auf vielfachen Wunsch werden am Samstagabend außerdem all jene Bots, die eine Stärke über 89 haben, entsprechend verschlechtert. Dafür erhalten die Bots eine neue Fähigkeit, nämlich den Stadionausbau. Der Sinn der Sache ist, dass ihr weniger auf Aschenplätzen antreten müsst, wenn ihr auswärts bei Bots antretet.

Ebenfalls auf vielfachen Wunsch werden künftig in Turnier-Spielplänen eure Clan-Kollegen hellgelb hervorgehoben.

Das Update wird für Android im Laufe des Samstagabend verfügbar sein, für Windows können wir es nicht so genau sagen. Bitte beachtet, dass die neuen Features (Stadion, Schatztruhe etc.) erst im Laufe des Abends serverseitig freigeschaltet werden. Wir werden euch im Newsticker brandaktuell informieren. Das ist vor allem deshalb wichtig, weil ihr erst ab dem Zeitpunkt der serverseitigen Umstellung in Saison-Packs oder für 11 Schatztruhen-Sammelbilder die neuen Platin-Truhen erhaltet! Bitte achtet also auf die Infos in den News und tauscht eure Sammelbildchen nicht vorher ein, wenn ihr Platin-Truhen dafür haben möchtet!

December Update Preview: New stadiums!

The december update will be published this saturday evening, and it will introduce new stadiums to build!



There will be three new stadiums. All count as level 6 stadiums, so they can be built if you have the Arena (level 5) and have the cash and minimum level (23 or higher).

The threee stadiums can be built alternatively. This means that you can replace one of them by another at any time, of course paying the building cost.



Of course the new stadiums are quite expensive, both in building cost and upkeep, but they not only see more fans, they come with a bonus. The „Blue Arena“ (top) gives you additional collectibles with a certain propability for each home win. The „Top Star Arena“ (above, looks a bit like Wembley) reduces exhaustion for all teams playing there. And the „Temple of Football“ (below) gives you free Rock Concert items with a certain propability.



All those new stadiums are obviously made for power gamers, as their abilities only make sense if you play many many games. But they also look nice on your home screen, and your opponents will of course also see your stadium if they play in it. So there are plenty of reasons to try the new stadiums. Also, since we now have the technical basics, we can add more new stadiums in the future easily. I am sure you will come up with great ideas, and we are looking forward hearing them.

Update-Vorschau: Neue Stadien!

Kein Witz: Im Dezember-Update wird ein lange gehegter Wunsch der Community endlich wahr. Ihr könnt neue Stadien bauen!



Und zwar nicht eines, sondern drei. Natürlich nicht gleichzeitig, sondern alternativ. Die drei neuen Stadien gelten alle als Stadionstufe 6 (zur Erinnerung: Die Multifunktionsarena ist Stufe 5) und ihr könnt euch eines aussuchen, ähnlich wie beim Trainerfuchs. Selbstverständlich ist es jederzeit möglich, das Stadion umzubauen, also ein Stadion Stufe 6 durch ein anderes Stufe 6 zu ersetzen. Das entspricht einem Neubau und kostet entsprechend.

A propos Kosten: Die neuen Stadien sind natürlich nicht ganz billig. Sie sind sogar extrem teuer, sowohl was den Bau, als auch was den Unterhalt angeht. Dafür passen aber nicht nur mehr Zuschauer rein, sondern sie sehen auch repräsentativ aus.



Aber das ist nicht alles. Die neuen Stadien haben zusätzliche Fähigkeiten! So erzeugt die „Blaue Arena“ (ganz oben) mit gewisser Wahrscheinlichkeit zusätzliche Sammelbilder bei Heimsiegen. Wer in der „Topstar-Arena“ (zweite von oben, Wembley nachempfunden) antritt, erfährt weniger Ermüdung, und der „Fußballtempel“ (unten) erzeugt ab und zu ein Rockkonzert-Item. Dieses Stadion eignet sich besonders zum Aufbau von Prestige und hat das kleinste Mindest-Level (23).



Selbstverständlich wird es im Laufe des kommenden Jahres weitere neue Stadien geben, nachdem wir die technischen Voraussetzungen jetzt einmal geschaffen haben. Sicher habt ihr schon tolle Ideen, und die hören wir uns natürlich gerne an!

Das Dezember-Update von Kick it out! erscheint am kommenden Samstag am späten Abend, so dass ihr auf jeden Fall mit neuem Stadion in die nächste Saison gehen könnt (wenn ihr den Bau beschleunigt).
