To ensure fairness and fun for everyone, we, the Player Council, have collectively decided on the first two important changes:
1. Cap on the „Youth Idol Counter Ace“
The Change: The effect is now limited to a maximum of 3 talent points per match. The conditions (in which leagues/cups it is active) remain completely unchanged.
The Reason: In practice, it became clear that the effect in its original form was simply too powerful. To prevent massive farming of talent points and to maintain the game balance, an adjustment was necessary here.
2. Transfer limitation for Limited Specialists
The Change: If Limited Specialists are placed on the transfer list, their specialization will be irrevocably lost after the update! To protect you from accidental losses, an additional safety prompt will be implemented beforehand. Same is valid for scout transfers or firing a player.
The Reason: Normally, every manager can only generate two Limited Specialists per month. Due to the previously unregulated transfer market, however, these actually very rare players accumulated extremely in individual teams. This severe imbalance understandably led to a lot of frustration within the community. To restore equal opportunities, we have decided on this regulation.
We are convinced that these necessary steps will make the sporting competition in Kio fairer for everyone again.
