Kio 4.0 – Weniger Packs, mehr Inhalt.

Da die Fahnen bekanntlich ersetzt werden, und sich auch bei den Nachwuchsverträgen einiges geändert hat, ist es logisch, dass wir die Packs neu zusammenstellen mussten.

• Trainer- bzw. Scouterweiterung heißen künftig Trainer Pack bzw. Scout Pack, die Inhalte ändern sich geringfügig.
• Das Profi Pack wird ersatzlos gestrichen und die Inhalte werden auf die anderen Packs aufgeteilt
• Das Spieler Pack enthält die neuen, aufwertbaren Nachwuchsverträge, Trainingslager und Glaskugeln. Es sind weniger Spielerverträge als vorher drin und man kann es nur noch 5 Mal pro Monat kaufen.
• Das Booster Pack enthält Energy Drinks, die neuen Nachwuchstalente (mit denen man in der Akademie Nachwuchsverträge aufwerten kann), Turniertickets und Sponsorevents. Es ist max. 15 Mal pro Monat kaufbar.
• Das Umzug Pack heißt künftig Tools Pack, es kommt ein Ligaabmeldungsitem hinzu – das hilft, wenn man sich in der falschen Liga angemeldet hat. Max. 1 Mal pro Monat kaufbar.
• Das Season Pack ist das variable Pack. Es ersetzt Frühling- und Sommer-Pack, ist 1 Mal pro Monat kaufbar und es wird einen Gold-Nachwuchsvertrag, Bautrupps, den roten Pullover des Trainers, Trainingslager usw. enthalten; aber die Inhalte können sich von Monat zu Monat ändern, das kündigen wir jeweils an.

Nun noch ein paar Regeländerungen:

• Alle Trainingslager kosten Kraft, nicht nur das große mit 20 Punkten. Je größer das Trainingslager, desto mehr Kraftverlust. Damit eliminieren wir eine Sonderregel, und logisch ist es auch.
• Platin-Spieler können sich in Trainingslagern nicht mehr verbessern. Es war einfach zu leicht, einen 90+-Spieler auf 99 zu bringen, indem man ein 10er-Trainingslager aktiviert (und keinen anderen ausbaufähigen Spieler hat). Es soll natürlich weiterhin 99er und ähnliche Top-Spieler geben, aber es soll mehr Mühe kosten, sie zu bekommen. Daher müsst ihr das Training-Minigame verwenden oder die Spieler durch Einsätze hochtrainieren.
• Trainingsextras: Man kann künftig 1 Trainingsbuch, 2 Slalomstangen und 2 Säcke Bälle besitzen statt 5 egal welche. Überschüssige Trainingsextras werden, so ihr welche habt, entfernt. Die 250 cash werden nicht zurückgezahlt. Damit können sich dann auch Leute ein Trainingsbuch kaufen, die sich versehentlich 5 Säcke Bälle gekauft hatten (das Buch macht ja was anderes).
• Der Co-Trainer kostet künftig Unterhalt, aber müsst ihr ihn nicht mehr alle paar Wochen neu kaufen (d.h. höchstens einmal noch, um einen “neuen” mit Unterhaltskosten zu bekommen).
• Einige Bauwerke, insbesondere Stadien, erhalten zusätzliche Baubedingungen, so erfordert die Arena künftig 500 Prestige, eine kleine Geschäftsstelle sowie ein Parkhaus. Wer die betr. Gebäude bereits hat, behält sie natürlich.
• Zusätzlich zu seiner bekannten Funktion gibt der rote Pullover des Trainers künftig abergläubischen Spielern +1, wirkt also wie ein Maskottchen.

KiO 4 has less packs with more content.

As you know flags will be discontinued and there are new rookie contracts, so it’s obvious that we need to redesign the pack contents.

• Scout and Coach extension will be called Scout Pack and Coach Pack and there will be minor content aliignments.
• The Pro pack is discontinued. The items from that pack are moved to other packs.
• The new Player Pack will have the new silver Rookie contracts, training camps and crystal balls. It can be purchased 5 times each month.
• The new Booster Pack will have the new Rookie Talents (used to upgrade rookie contracts in the academy), energy drinks, tournament tickets and sponsor events. It can be purchased 15 times each month.
• The Relocation Pack will become the Tools Pack. We add a League Cancellation item which allows you to leave a league you accidentally joined (only possible before the first match)
• The new Season Pack will replace the Spring and Summer packs. It can be purchased once each month and contains a gold rookie contract, workers, the red sweater of the coach, training camps and more. We will change the contents of the Season Pack from time to time (this will be announced).

Then there are several rules changes:

• All training camps will consume player health, not only the largest one. The more points a training camp has, the more health it consumes.
• Platinum players cannot be improved by training camps. It was way too simple to make a 90+ player 99 just by activating a camp and having no other player with a plus sign. Of course 99 players will still be achievable, but you’ll have to use the training minigame or have the players improve by playing.
• Training extras: You will be allowed to have 1 Training Book, 2 Piles of Poles and 2 Bags of Balls instead of having any 5. If you have more, they will be removed (the 250 cash will not be refunded). This allows managers who accidentally bought 5 ball bags to get a training book which does something totally different.
• The Assistant Coach will cost upkeep instead of leaving after a certain time.
• Some buildings, stadiums for example, will have new prerequisites. Like to build the Arena, you will need 500 prestige, a small office and a parking deck.
• The red sweater of the coach will (apart from the flag thing) act as a mascot, giving superstitious players +1. This means superstitious players can actually have a total of +6 and a superstitious 99 player will have an effective strength of 105.
